The staff at HG could not have been more friendly or helpful. I booked for another one-night stay on my return to Rome.
Bedding and pillows could have been been more comfortable.
The friendliness of the staff and the willingness to help us navigate the city and answer any questions.
Very clean small hotel with a very helpfully staff. The location is great as it is very close to the metro and alot of sights are 10 to 15 minute walk. I will recomend this hotel for anyone who iwants to live in a decent pace for an ok price
Helpful staff, hotel location in Rome, reasonable rates.
the staff were very attentive and friendly and the hotel was cute and intimate. the rooms were clean and nicely presented and the location was perfect. we loved our stay here and would definitely stay again.
the only negative point i could put and this is very minor, is that in the morning the water could be quite tepid in the shower, presumably because of all the people using it at the same time.
The staff were really helpful. I liked the fact that it was a small hotel and the service was really personal. It was well located and within my budget.
A little bit on the noisy side, given that markets set up early right outside the window. But that's about all i didnt like.
Picked for the value and the reviews. The location was lovely, next to the main train station a walking distance to every bus, tram, metro and sights (Rome is a walking city). The hotel is nice, warm with friendly staff.
The breakfast is poor (coffee good) The noise from the street is horrible, cars on the street as they drive by. The internet is not free. Even though it could be! You can get better value from renting a vacation rental in the same area. Try going to the website of the hotel the rates are better there!!!
The Hotel staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful, sharing local knowledge including great recommendations for eating out. The room was lovely and the Hotel itself situated perfectly for visiting the sights of Rome, many within a comfortable walk, whilst still being situated in a quiet area of the City.
The hotel is ideal for any traveller visiting Rome. The hotel is within a 5 minute walk of Termini Station, so once you arrive in Rome you can simply drop off your bags / check-in and get out to enjoy the sites of this wonderful city. The hotel is sitiuated on Via Depretis which effectively sits between the Spanish Steps and the Colliseum, whilst the centre of Rome sits immediately due south. Due to its proximity all areas of Rome can be reached quite easily on foot. The hotel is a small family run business where each and every member of staff makes every effort to ensure there guests are looked after. I have now stayed at the hotel on a number of a occasions and will have no hesitation in returning once again in the near future. Thank you Hotel Giuliana.
The staff was absolutely wonderful, best experience of our entire trip. Very friendly and accommodating. We'd definitely stay there again. The breakfast was big enough to satisfy our American appetites as well.
The staff was fantastic. Really enjoyed the location - we walked to everything! Great restaurants close by.
Our room was TINY!!!! With three adults and our luggage, we were constantly tripping over each other and our luggage, and stubbing our toes on the desk and chair, and hitting the corner of the very sharp bed frame. Also, our room was on the main street, and it was very noisy.
The staff at Hotel Giuliana were extremely welcoming and friendly, offering advice such as where to eat and how to get to the main sites from the hotel. The location was excellent - everything was very walkable and the hotel was within easy reach of the station, good places to eat and most importantly, the major tourist attractions.
Noise from outside could be heard, but with it being in such a central location we expected this and is a trade off we were happy to make for the location.
We received a warm welcome from Jean. She was very friendly and warm. Gave us a brief but informative description of the places to visit in Rome, recommended us to an affordable eating place for our dinner. The breakfast was simple but adequate for us. The location is excellent. It takes about 5-6 minutes walk (with luggages) to the Termini Station. Takes about 12-15 minutes walk to the Trevi Fountain. Distance to the nearest metro station (Republica) is about 3-4 minutes walk. There is a supermarket along Via Nazionale about 5 minutes walk from Hotel Giuliana to get bottled water at very affordable prices.
Great location near train station and attractive 20 minute walk to Colliseum. Friendly staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful with my sightseeing plans. Excellent caffe lattes and croissants plus yogurt, cereal and fruit for breakfast - very nice. Nice big clean tiled bathroom.
We slept with windows open and a market sets up very early on street right below - just need to be aware and either use air conditioner or close window when noise starts - was actually sort of fun and lively. Room is very basic - inexpensive furniture and doilies but bed was comfy, bathroom great and price was right. Met our needs well.
